The Bulldogs came into the Chatfield Challenge tired, sore and at low energy during another hard week of training.  The team was ready to race, but ultimately knew that the best strategy for this race was working on 'packing', pacing and team unity.  Goals accomplished. 

No matter what, there's always time & energy for games involving the disc!

The 'Dogs version of the Mummy.............then the races begin.  First up, the Freshmen get to run.

Then the Varsity's big three show the crowd how Bulldogs pack in front!

After a cool-down run, there's some small talk about the races.  Then, the important part.....loading up on sub sandwiches, chips, apples, Eileen's Cookies and nutrition drinks.  

After a little R & R, the Bulldogs load up for the bus ride home.  A tough day's training run is over - another step on the way to their State Championship efforts.  The bus ride has the usual singing, card games, ipods, laughter and teasing.  Once we get home, it's time to get ready for another hard day of workouts tomorrow to prepare for Friday's runs at The John Martin.  See you there!
